Not thumbnails but icons sort of thing ...
« on: June 05, 2016, 06:43:44 PM »
Hi,

I have a bulk directory of various media files I have pulled from different disks.  In no order, just dumped in a directory.  Mostly single files, all sorts of formats.  When I view them on the Mede8er (MED800x3D) I see the name and a default icon.  Is there a way to quickly do something to these files to show a snapshot/thumbnail/picture icon to make it easier to sort through?

General idea being I want to sit there and process the files one at time, but not necessarily view each file in turn.  A thumbnail/image would probably in most cases be enough to file it in the correct context.  These aren't movie/tv files I need to scrape - it would just be handy to have a sort of pictorial representation shown on the Meder8er when viewing/sorting and eventually storing.

Any ideas?

Any help appreciated

Hi,

This is the problem with being a bit of a noob  ::).  Found an option on the directory list to show a list of files with a preview, that will do the job no problem.

So problem sorted.
