Yes All of a sudden I get nothing on the first run then on the

Second run
cover art only,
a blank xml file
no fan art or about jpgs

The whole process has nothing but errors. When I went to try and install it on another windows 7 machine though I got the same errors almost every time I installed I got the Java no internal or external access error so thinking it may be an issue with the latest Java update? I am not certain what the issue is just would love a fix this software makes adding content to my library far easier then one by one through the machine

Guys, you need to download the older version Java SE 1.8.60 in order for it to work in windows 10.

Yes it seems that Y2M broke with the latest version of Java and will no longer scrape the description and background images.  We need a fix.  There are several sites with people having issues.  I am not sure how to get a hold of the developers either but we need to all look and wait.  Unless anyone else has any other ideas besides running with an older version of Java...

I haven't seen any other options except change programs.  Seems like many sites are reporting the issue.

I think I get the same error-message as everybody else: "ImdbPlugin: Failed retrieving IMDb data for movie : tt 1234567" and  "Video 'XXX' was not able to be scanned using the current plugins." when scanning a movie. The result is no xml-data and no "about-image".

I'm not sure whether this is a helpful contribution but when scanning a tv-serie, all is going well.

Here is a link to get the older version mentioned above without having to set up an account on oracle. It does in fact start working right after downgrading java to 8u60 32bit in windows 10

I have now played back a backup of 18:10:15 and it works again .
As long as there is no other solution for Y2M the AutoUpdate of Java must be disabled .

Install VIRTUAL PC from Microsoft, you can run it on every windows platform
In this virtual box you can install an other Windows 32bits with a lower JAVA version.
This solves all my problems with the new java 8-65 en Y2M.
My original Windows is java uptodate and the virtual machine is now on 8-60.

I am getting the same issues as everyone else with W10 except on my laptop where miraculously Y2M works fine.

Have tried playing about with older versions of Java on my PC but no matter what the settings are I cannot get Y2M to run. It fails instantly with a YAMJ to Mede8er has stopped working error.

Tried running in compatibility mode and as administrator but no luck.

For now I will just have to use my lappy :(

It's so annoying!

Well, I found myself with some free time.

So I removed and downloaded the Java versions that work on my laptop:

Java 8 Update 45 8.0.45.0 and the 64-bit versions and nothing really has changed! It doesn't fail immediately, but does fail with the same error as my original post.

This is so annoying!

I noticed putting the Yamj folder in a folder with no strange symbols like (x86) all works fine. Only cannot copy 1 new movie to mede8er, it always copies all movies in YAMJ
