You're welcome  ;)

But one little problems I have...

Avatar:
If I open Avatar with MakeMKV, then I see 2 titles which have a size of 44,8GB. The first writes itself "Avatar - 35 Kapitel (Chapter), 44,8GB and the second is "Avatar, 44,8GB".

Get I the first, it is only in 2D within all chapters, get I the second it is in 3D, but no chapters. ??? Where is my mistake? Take I the full image which work in 3D and subtitles. But I can only select the subtitles always onscreen or not. But if the Na’vi talk in her own languages and subtitles are disabled, I must activate the subtitles. What shell I do? Take a look...

??? In the Full-Ripp-BD.ISO 1:1 Copy I can't select forced. In the other 2, make with MakeMKV there are forced subtitles, but there is an another problem. Please. see above. One of them is with chapters, but no 3D, the other is in 3D, but no chapters.

Heino

My makeMKV of Avatar has chapters and is 3D so its crazy. (You can check the MediaInfo I posted earlier as an attachment)
I made this with the previous release of makeMKV so maybe that is a bug in this release ???

I will post the chapter file and you can mux it into your copy with MKVmerge.

EDIT: I think you can take the chapter text from that Media Info file and save it as a txt file and mux it with MKVMerge

Inside MVC BD can be confusing. There are two crosslinked folder sharing the same data locations in the stream. The first folder is the left eye, and functions  like a normal AVC with chapters etc.
The second folder is the increments to  the left eye which make the right..and the crosslinked locations of the left eye data.  This is only needed for 3d so has no  chapters.

Simple answer, do not make up your own rip from the folders you  think  you should be using.

This was also my first thought. But it is wrong. Because...Avatar, made by MakeMKV is running now.  :D I repeat
the same process with MakeMKV. I take the file with 35 chapters and make it again. I copy it on my internel HDD and now....it runs..in 3D...with chapters...with forced subtitles and it is still a smaller file (36GB). Yeah.  ;D I don't know why the first copying doesn't works. But now it's all okay.

Puhhh...and now I'm tired...it was very much the last 3 days. I worked the last 3 days only with the mede8er....My wife would be happy, if I do the same with her  ;D

Tot ziens   ;)

Hello to all,
Sorry  for my english since it is not my native language.
So like many others i was caught by that 3D hype.
My setup was Samsung PS60E6500 3D TV, Denon 1611 AVR (3D) and
superb  media player Twix Slim S1 which played almost all except of 3D.
Samsung integrated media player  plays superb Side by side or top and bottom 3D
movies but I wanted more 3D BD-iso playback. So after some market research I've bought
MED600X3D and I'm very frustrated. I've got 5 or 6 BD iso images and only 1 of them (Ice Age 4) plays in 3D.
Others are playing in 2D (Scorpions concert)    or hanging (Puss in boots).
MED600X3D plays superb side by side or top bottom movies but so Samsung TV does with great success and
MED was bought only for 3D BDISO playback as advertised and it fails to do that proper   :'(

Please post more  of you symptoms... Do  some auto play in 3d, do  some need the Menu (using Top on Bottom), or do  some play only in 2D, with no 3d menu?

Are they all ripped identically?

Ice Age 4 starts auto in 3D TV recognizes 3D source. Scorpions Live 3D starts in 2D an no 3D menu is available.
Puss in Boots  hangs on showng first screen.  All supposed to be true 3D frame packed  (no side by side or top bottom)

scorpions 3d must be 30fps movie, make sure you have 24hz on.

what program you used to rip the ISO ?
