Hi scruby,

The view.xml is built up two rows nothing more (ie):
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<FolderTag>
    <ViewMode>Movie</ViewMode>
</FolderTag>
 It commands which mediatype (movie, picture) should be displayed.

As I think well in Jukebox view (Favourtie) you can not start the series because how the MP knows that wich type of movie-series might be play. You can start in Media Library - USB, NFS etc.
BTW your folder structure is seems to be OK.

Hi Scruby

Delete mede8er.db and it will work.
Doing the above will also allow your Favourite to TV Series to work.

NOTE:
The Tv Wall works differently to the Movie Wall. (does NOT get scanned ....this creates the .db file)

Let me know if this sorted it out.

Also noted you don't have 'series.jpg' in seasons folder (this displays the video files as cover art)....Note: this is optional
Download the Series.exe utility and copy this to TV Series folder and run it. (see my 2nd post on page 1)

Hi Zakkie,

Thank you for this tip. I tried it yesterday without Mede8er.db file and it was working.

Hi Zakkie,

I'm going to give your wall generator a go. I have a question though: for 1-off TV series, such as the BBC's Planet Earth (or any of their nature documentary series for that matter) , am I better off using your TV wall, rather than something like My Movies, and in which case, should I just denote that one series as Season 1?

Hi t-force

If you unsure of the structure of the season just vist thetvdb.com, do a search for your show and it will show you the directory structure.
For BBC's Planet Earth http://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=series&id=79257&lid=7 all your episodes go into Season 1.
I.e.

Planet Earth (BBC)
        Season 1
             Planet Earth S01E01 From pole to pole
             Planet Earth S01E02 Mountains
             Etc....

Is it possible to have a different jpg for each episode? It seems that TVRename downloads them and shows them within the app - can this be somehow incorporated into what ends up displayed on the Mede8er?

Have to say - seems great so far - Thank you very much
