How to disable Audio via HDMI when using digital optical out?

I have HDMI connected to TV and optical digital out to receiver. I have to mute the TV to avoid echo since both HDMI and optical out seem to be active at the same time.

Is there a way to do this via the HDMI and SPDIF settings?

Currently have firmware V1.03 10th August 2012 installed.
