DNLA problem ?
« on: September 21, 2012, 03:45:41 PM »
Guys, a quick question, related with the dnla, but not "mobile"

I have a samsung LE40C750 tv connected to the network (away from the Med1000) it finds the player, manage to enter the folders, but the tv always says that the codec is  not supported.. the same movies, streamed from win media player and other programs(on my pc), the tv accepts and plays the movie on DNLA.. i only tested with usb pens connected to the Med1000.

Because from pc it accetps (the tv) but from the med it doesent, i am assuming that this is a player limitation..

Or i am doing something wrong?

tested:

*.avi
*.mkv
*.dvdrips
720 and 1080 mkv
.

Cheers!

Many dnla servers convert media in real time to match  the MIME data supplied by the connected DMR. The X3 server does not..so files will flagged as unsupported by the TV's DMR.  The issue here is the codec inside the files you are playing.
