Cant connect to my Qnap TS-509

Hi

Im trying to connect to my qnap ts-509 using my Mede8er MED1000X3D, but having problems, i have connected it to my billion router via Ethernet, the samba option is on but it still doest recognise my user name and password, any help would be appreciated here. I have firmware V1.03 30Aug 2012.

Pls use the IP based method as described in the User Manual Page14
The Login Screen Host Name method has a bug

Hi

Thanks for your help, i have done that but i still cant access the folder which contains the movies, i have followed the instructions in the manual, and have put in my user name password correctly but it still says login fail, any further assistance would be much appreciated.

Two suggestions:
- try to logon with your admin account as this normally has full access always to see if you made some setup sharing privilige error
- check if you have jumbo frames on and turn it off (try mtu size  1500)
