Actually I am getting issues as well with streaming.

interesting you mentioned time capsule.   As I am using apple Airport Extreme which is basically an identical router as the time capsule without the hard drive.

Is there an issue between 10003XD and apple airport extreme and time capsule routers?

My files are stored on a NAS but both the X3D and the NAS are on connected through the Airport Extreme router wired.

I do not have wifi available on the X3D but the same 2 files stream flawlessly and play perfectly on my macbook pro and imac on the same network on either wireless or lan cable.

I assume these two files you mention are 3D. If so how are you streaming 3DBDISO to your Mac ? I dont think this is possible and you are actually streaming the 2D content.

That is correct it Avatar is 3D and is streaming the same file but 2D content.

Avengers MKV is a 32GB MKV file in 2D which streams smoothly on imac and macbook pro on same network but not on the X3D.

Most mKV's and ISO's i have are less the 20GB and seem to stream fine on the X3D.

It seems the X3D falls over for me on large high quality files streaming,  but ok from internal HD.   I think it's the chipset power to stream/decode/display.   Remove the stream from the equation it can do it.

Might be a incompatibility with Apple routers and the X3D.

I will try and get another router to try.   Will also try a Zotac Nano on the exact same network setup and cable that the X3D is on and try streaming with that.

We will again revisit the High Bittrate mkv's and see if we can improve the streaming performance. This will take some time.

For now you workaround would be to use TSmuxer and mux to M2TS file.

Mede8er1, please check if it's possible to get back correct default playlist functionality from previous firmwares, while retaining the playlist navigator from this firmware of course. While the latter is nice to have, don't want to lose the 1000X3D automatically playing the correct playlist as it did before :). Thanks.

I don't know if this is a problem already been in the other firmware. I changed the display setting to 1080p 60HZ to see it the quality was getting better. But with this setting on I got some stuttering. I changed it back to HDMI Auto and the stuttering was gone. But now when I watch a movie it is set automatically back to 1080p 60HZ. When I press settings during a movie it is on 1080p 60HZ. When I change it back to HDMI Auto everything is fine. When I press settings in the folders is says HDMI Auto, but every time now I watch a movie it's switch back 1080p 60HZ again. Also when I start the MED1000X3D is says in the left corner 1080p 60HZ. But in the settings it says HDMI Auto.

So when I watch a movie it switch to 1080p 60HZ. When I press stop and then go back to settings it says HDMI Auto. When I watch a movie and press setting it says 1080p 60HZ.

It is turned off. But I put it on once to see what this function does. Maybe the off function is not working when you put it on once? To be honest I don't know what the auto frame rate setting does.

The thing you see in the corner is the mode your tv is running on. It is not a message from the mede8er. So this is normal when you have set your mede8er on hdmi auto.

Auto fps mode will set your tv to optimal mode for the fps of the movie that you start.

Re: "Unsafe storage eject" message during movie play

This version appears to work very well for me. No fancy set-up here. Yet. Just connected to a TV and a 100mbit network. I also included a harddisk because the high bandwidth stuff just wouldn't play properly over network.

I did notice this:

During playing of an H264 movie get 2 messages in top:
1.HDD spin down

I got it only once though and I was actually playing a movie from the harddisk. It didn't actually spin down or even stutter.

Ok, but why when I'm watching a movie it switch to 1080p 60HZ. I have to switch during the movie to HDMI Auto, otherwise I get stuttering.
