Conclusion:
There is something wrong with network setup with this release, and maybe also with one of the previous open betas (need to go back to see where this crept in).
People using GUI update might still have a working Internet stream as I saw, when they used GUI update coming from a previous version where internet streams worked.
Gui update preserves the config, FW recovery mode update not.
That explains why doing the config restore from a working situation, somehow fixes the stream issue.
I expect something is wrong with DNS setup in this version, and maybe also in prev beta version.

the 30.08 is the first firmware I have used and I actually used recovery mode to update it. So I actually had never set up the box before.

I just installed the 29 aug open beta.
That one works ok for me with internet streams when I install by FW recovery mode without doing a config restore.

Please do the same and verify if this fixes it for you too.

we would expect so. It's the holiday season so the number of devs testing is lower than usual..and key members  have been in Berlin drin....sorry promoting the x3.

When using the Mede8er zoom function the navigation bar will no longer show and you are unable to navigate back and forth in the playing media.

Putting zoom to off will solve the issue and the navigation bar will show again.
