This is the first firmware release I installed, so no idea if this problem is directly connected to this release.

The X3D is connected directly to my Fritzbox router via LAN. Connection to my NAS no problem.

But, I cannot connect to the Internet, tried DHCP auto and manual - no change.
Entered 8.8.8.8 in DNS, no change, also restarting router did not help. I even put the OpenDNS values in - no change.

Also, I cannot connect to my Synology NAS via NFS (which is my preferred option), via SMB no problem.

Try putting the Gateway ip value into the Manual DNS (server) field.

Does the fact you can post mean you have a pc with internet access using the   fritzbox? What does the lan connection for your pc    have for ipv4 data, especially gateway and dns server?

Yes I have Internet access, if I plug the Lan cable into another player, it also immediately has access to the Internet. Usually with a LAN cable and dhcp auto on, there is not much that can go wrong.
Gateway IP 192.168.178.1
DNS (on my pc) 192.168.178.1

I have Squeezeboxes and other players connected to the fritzbox, all work fine.

Is that just the browser based apps (bing xl etc), or is it also  internet radio?

Also radio does not work. So nothing internet related works.

got restart when selecting movie in browser.every first time i turn on media player and select movie browser and that happens.restart happen when i got in page 3 scroll down page.so i turn off the power button and turn on again.and the same happen again when selecting movie.
i use 1tb wd my pasport and 3tb wd my book essential.
in setup i use 1080p auto
24hz 1080p on
auto frame off

can u fix this problem sir?

Those usb drives may have hidden security partitions. Meds only work with standard usb drives.

should i create new partition and format my eksternal hard drive?is this will resolved my problem?
i use wd 1tb my passport and 3tb my book.
they got formated from the factory and ntfs

I would suggest to first verify with windows diskmanager if those disks contain multiple partitions.

there is no multiple partitions when i check in diskmanager.
is this hardware defect or just firmware error?
that is so strange when i see browse movie and i go down several page then its restart it self.its happen over and over again

the same problem at my med1000. I cant get an internet connection by wlan. The connection  tested as ok, but I cant open youtube, internet or something like that.
