Please help! I've had my Mede8er for over a year and love it. I've previously had my media content on a 2TB external HDD and it works perfectly, even with the drive was full to capacity. I have recently bought a HP 3 TB external HDD  and now my Mede8er is not happy with it. Once I turn on both devices and the Mede8er screens are displayed on my TV, as soon as I try access anything on the 3TB HDD, the Mede8er goes to blue screen and then reboots. This happens for quite (at least 10 - 15 minutes) a while whether or not I scan storage.

EVENTUALLY it works but it is not a pleasurable experience. I really need help with this.

Will a firmware update help?

Any advice appreciated Smiley

As far as I can see the 250X2 supports only disks up to 2TB.

See: http://www.mede8er.com/mede8er_products_med250x.html

File System Supported: FAT32 (up to 500GB), NTFS (up to 2TB)
