food morning,
Would someone like to make a video tutorial for the preparation of the movie and music jukebox. I think the movie jukebox is not a problem for a lot of people but music jukebox for a lot of people it is, including myself. For other brands, I have found it on youtube ,except for Mede8er . I think it would be a big help for al lot of people to take the max out of the mede8er.
Tnx

Tnx for the links.
Only the first and the third link are useless and the second one it's the one i've used..
Tagscanner isn't the problem for me,but to make .html file (i've used the script),
Do i have to load everything  in tagscanner and then export the .html file or album by album.
And what do i have to do when adding a new album, also scan everything or only the album.
But about the video tutorials, i think it will be a big bonus for this product and make mede8er only
better and stronger.

fab,

I will give it a try to make some youtube guides, if I can find some time for it.....
It is a good idea.

Now to help you on the way with the music jukebox:
What kind of music files do you have in your collection? Are it mp3 music files only or are there also other types in it? If it is only mp3 then there is no need to use the Tracklist.XML output with the Tagscan script.

So is it mp3 only or also others?

Tnx maasbommel for your answer.
The most is mp3 and a few and there are a few cue files.

I missed your response, so sorry for the late reply.
mp3 cue files are not working on a Mede8er, only Flac with cue files.

If you are only using mp3 files, setup is easy:
- make a music folder and put all your mp3 files in album subfolders below
- place a cover.jpg file in each album folder with the size of 200x200 dpi, not much bigger to keep response good
- if the mp3 contain embedded cover art, resize it to 200x200 with tagscan
- now link a the music folder to a favourite
- goto the favorite menu and put the focus on the music shortcut
- press the menu button and select scan option
- wait, scanning can take some time depending on the size (even 30 minutes or more)
- be sure you have jukebox mode set to on in setup

When the scanning is ready, it will reboot.
Now when you select the favorite link, it will show you a music jukebox and you have all kind of filter and search options below the menu button.
