Hallo,

by updating my MED500X with the latest update the machine has crased.
now it won t start again.
is there a possibilty to make a Factory reset ?  i cant go into the menu.... Embarrassed

can somebody help me.....

Try flashing the same firmware you downloaded (using the Emergency Recovery Procedure). If that fails, try downloading the version you had before and do the Emergency Recovery Procedure again...

Is it hanging on the big 8?  This is usually a HDMI EDID hang. You can try using analog to get it running..and then switch back to HDMI.

The machine doesnt react at all. When i start with the power button, the big 8 appears in the screen and than nothing happens.. can t power off. only by pulling of the poweradaptor.

tryed it...is not working. the big 8 is still there and the mede8er dont react at all.


Can you try forcing the video output to 576 or 480 when using analog. That should avoid it going back to HDMI auto  when you reconnect.
