I have 2 questions concerning photo viewing.

First of all, is there an option on the MED500X2 to display photos how they are supposed to be, instead of stretching them to 16:9 format?

And secondly, which button advances the photos whilst viewing? I tried several buttons, but none seems to work. Instead, when viewing one photo, and I want to view the next one, I have to use the back button, go to the next photo, then press enter. Kind of counter-productive. Is there no other way?

The streching is probably caused by the autozoom option of your TV that is enabled, check your TV settings.
If you use an SD setting on your Mede8er, autozoom of a TV will strech it.

Also enble Slideshow in Mede8er setup, this will give you all kind of options when you enter on a picture and after that press menu button.
You then can also skip forward/back with the arrow buttons.
