Hi guys,

suddenly I got a problem with my med500x with the 4.0.4. firmware on.

Trying to start the medialibrary by pressing "ok" the screen blacks out and nothing happens til the menu reshows.There is no disk etc. showing.

Other things (internet radio, settings) work. The internal disk is working over usb/ftp.

Has someone an idea?

I suggest first to connect your 500X2 to your pc using the usb cable and run a filesystem check on it to see if all is ok with the disk.

Same problem without any/only usb harddrive...

Have you got another idea?

I think you did not understand what I meant.

Do as follows:
- connect your mede8er to your pc using the usb cable that came with it
- on your pc run chkdsk /f driveletter from a dos box

Yeah, you īre right, I got you wrong...

So, there were no problems with the harddrive detected.
