Slow NAS fuction on version 2.0.7

Hello,
I have the mede8er 500x2 for almost a year now.
When i try to copy files to my mede8er i get like 20kb/s, i've read many forums and they said this problem was fixed in version 1.0.1+, but i've 2.0.7 and i still have those REALY slow speeds, help would be appriciated.
(if i use YAMJ to mede8er the processing takes 10mins for 1movie, it was WAY faster before, and when i use ThumbGen it even takes over 30mins for 1movie)

Many problems are down to how your X2 and host network are setup. Assuming it's "bad" firmware and that waiting for a "fix" is not always a solution.  So please post more details of your network and your X2 settings.

We have a:
TP-Link TL-WR1043ND
25mb/s internet (UPC)
60mb/s powerline adapter (d-link and plugged into the mede8er, and not in my computer)
i am using a good 2,6ghz dualcore compuer with gb/s ethernet connector

When i download though transmission (i hate it bec.  It isnt integrated,  but i have to deal with it)
i get about 600kp/s at some torrents,  so i dont think thers something wrong with the cable or something like that.

You should try creating a simpler test netwprk...router, media source and X2.  Get that wiorking and then move on. I have posted an exmaple netork using powerline..and I wouldn't think of using anything less than 500 mbps powerlines becuase you  will lost far too mcuh to error correction and the use of lower speeds to achieve realiblty.

but from what i read there it says i must atleast get 1mb/s right?
But 20kb/s?,  and why can te mede8er dowload with a speed of almost 1mb/s?
Or am i doing something wrong?

You  have to set up using a simpler network first.  We can't see if it's the dlan or not.

I got like 1mb/s when using a really simple network so, it must be the power-line adapter right?
I've searched the model number on the internet and found out its 200mb/s (D-Link DHP-306AV).
I'll look at that thank you!

A simple network using cable should get around 4.4 mb/sec.  If you  aren't..there is something wrong with your setup.

i was using a laptop because ive needed the cable of my pc so i think thats the problem, but thanks for all the help!
