I used the previous fw 2.0.5 and 2.0.6,  even with all the other issues the WiFi was very fast and had no problem connecting to my pc via WiFi.

Since the update the 2.0.7 beta and 2.0.7 final the WiFi does not connect to my PC.  The Mede8er does pick up that I have a WiFi signal in the house but fails to connect.

I had it connected once but it was so slow its not even worth it to copy something with a speed of 2 - 5 kb/s.  thats slower than a dial up connection in the old days.

any advice?  Huh

Did you already try to reinstall 2.0.7 final using recovery mode?
And then configure wifi from scratch?

What wifi security mode are you using?
WPA2 PSK? WEP etc?
Do you have SSID set to broadcast and not to hidden in your router?

When you downgrade to prev firmware version where it worked, is the problem then gone?

Does Network search show the Network at all? Or is it failing the connection test?

At the moment I have no securely so it is an open network.

my SSID set to broadcast.

The mede8er does pick up that i have a WiFi network and it shows the strength on 3 bars.  But when I say connect to my PC it starts the test...... and fails

Have you tried to do a rescan by pressing the zoom button on your remote when you are in the mede8er SSID wifi over view screen with all wifi networks found?

What happens if you downgrade to prev firmware that worked ok for you in the past?
Does it connect then?
