Hello,
I've tried to add a network folder, but gave up after this because the bookmark, and when I have opened a huge mess, and this folder is shown to me as if it were a single folder.
The folder that this HDD in my PC, it ordered a more consistent, and after added is highly unorganized and it appears differently.

Why?

Tks.

That's a feature, not a bug. You have Jukebox active and did scan your newly added bookmark: this gives a searchable, flat view of your folder and all the folders inside it, with a certain depth.
If you don't like this behaviour, simply add the folder to favorites and do NOT scan it  Wink

So I do not like this behavior as the network folders!

I had a egreat M34A and shared network folders when they were shown to me as if the PC.
I think it's a point "something" negative 500x2.
Already I can not remember if I had done or not scan the folder, when I realized that he mixed / altered the configuration folder ..

Mild that there is another way to share folders on the 500x2, without his mix everything as if it were a single folder.

Tks. Smiley

Are you using Upnp? Those are virtual folders that all Upnp servers will show.  You have to use Network (samba) instead.

I decided to try again.
I'm using the network (Samba).

I added a network folder to the favorites, but not sent to scan, I saw that you check the appearance of the folder is not the same as in the PC. So I decided to scan the folder and X2 told me I needed to reboot after the scan will network folder. After rebooting, I went to folder (the favorite) went into the folder, BUT the X2 seems locked once the command is not responding. I'll have it cut off.

You should not be asked for a reboot after a scan folder action.
Either you're not running the latest firmware (2.0.7) or your last upgrade resulted in a bad flash.
I advice you to upgrade ASAP using the emergency recovery feature and NOT the standard GUI procedure.

Please report any significant improvement over your previous situation

Sorry I did not say that with version 2.0.7 firmware, and upgraded using the GUI.
I will then update using the emergency procedure and see what happens.

Edit/Update
I then turned to flashing the X2 and this time used the security procedure. He ran normally lost some settings, and set up already, did not have another change.

I went to add the folder to the favorites and this same network, appears to me all mixed up. If I have to scan the folder, it tells me that you need to reboot.

What can I do?
I really wanted to have that network folder in bookmarks, to not always go to a journey so long, will reach for the folder.
My OS is Win7 x64 Sp1.

Did you create the favourite by getting to the folder by using the network shortcut..and then using Menu?

I dleted something..but then realised I was correct. This is in the wrong section as you have an X2.

If you scan you create a jukebox database..and you then see the contents of the database as a flat display. If you want the origonal folders you do not use Jukebox..but create seperate links to folders to create a videowall.
