Well, it looks like we all have no need for tools, or are just too shy to ask  Grin

So, let me start this thread to verify if there is request for (or interest in) a DLNA remote for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad capable of displaying data in a similar way to what jukeboxes (video, TV and audio) does.
A possibile feature list:
1) Basic transport controls: play, pause/stop, scrub, volume
2) folder.jpg presentation along with plot/actors/genre infos from XML files
3) Filters or search criterias
4) Favourites servers/locations
5) Ability to manage audio playlist
I'm no DLNA guru so I don't know, as of now, the feasibility of the aforementioned list but dreaming ain't forbidden, is it?

So, come on: add your own "I need it" feature, or slide in your smart suggestions and let's see if it can be done or not.

And don't be shy. Ask... You never know,,,  Smiley

Thank you so much jer1956, I'll start reading those documents as soon as possible.

I know that there are non-dedicated DMC for iOS, but they unuseful in their "free" edition and the fully activated counterparts cost a little too much, in my opinion.
So: either a basic, no frills but also no limitation, remote or a more featured one, with some frills and some useful function for some little money, in the range of 99 euro cents. That's my vision.

I hope to have some feedback from power users  Cool
