Hi Clint65,
as you may know, DuneX2Medeber is no longer developed nor supported due to the inclusion of a scraper in newest Mede8er firmware, setting the uselfulness of an external scraping system (for Macs) next to zero.

However, I took a brief look at DuneX 0.9.2_m, loading it with a bunch of movies, exporting the library and firing up D2X v. 1.6.1 (latest available): it all worked without flaws, displaying the movies which were successfully scraped in DuneX...

Hello !
I've just downloaded DuneX 0.9.2_m and the latest version of DuneX2Mede8er
DuneX works fine, it's configured to export for med500, jpg. It generates the dune xml file.
But when I try to open this db with DuneX2Mede8er, I just see a folder structure, without any movie files in it.

I tried with duneX 0.8.xx, it doesn't scrap anything (no information found), but when the db is exported it works fine in DuneX2Mede8er.

I'm kind of stuck here. Is this a compatibility issue between DuneX 0.9.2m and DuneX2Mede8er ?

Thanks in advance !

Thanks a lot for your answer.
I must do something wrong somewhere, I'll try again.

I still want to use it to bulk fix my library, d2x is the fastest way, it's not so useless !

Hi,
I'm the proud owner of a new MED600X3D which I got for Christmas; I've been trying to set up an NFS, but I'm a bit of a newbie to all this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running my files from a MacBook Pro 13" running Yosemite with a HDD connected (this is where my movie and TV series files are located); I downloaded the latest DuneX as I saw from this very forum that it could do the job in terms of scraping movie info and poster images - however, whilst it's performing as expected for my TV series, it's pulling down no information for my films whatsoever! Even if some of them are not perhaps named as they should be, certainly most of them are, but no joy... Any ideas or anyone with a similar issue?

Thanks,
Gareth

I've since gone through my library in an attempt to rectify this and renamed nearly all of my films and popped them in their own folder; movie info is now getting pulled down, but no image or movie posters. I'm obviously doing something wrong, but I've no idea what. Any help greatly appreciated.  ???

If you put the focus on an cover and press menu and then choose edit.  Can you scrape then and do a save?
If not then check if you enabled nfs write on your shares.
It sounds like you only have read enabled and not write.

ciao Mognons,
ti scrivo in italiano perchè cosi mi spiego meglio .

ciao

Gianluca
