Hi,

I would like to know if I could use PCIE Wifi to connect the MEDX2Key instead of its own usb dongle? To get better range as I don't need the WiFi, I'm using cable lan.

Thanks

It's a differn 2.4ghz protocol..so no.  Are you using the extension cable for the reciever?  The metal  case will interfear if you plug it directly into a USB socket.

People are using it across quite large rooms..if you can't connect more than a metre then you have other 2.4ghz interfearence.

what other 2.4ghz devices do  you have?  Wireless speakers can be a problem.

We have had people who  get pci-e problems as well if they also have 2.4ghz speakers or a 2.4 ghz soundbar.

I do have a 2.4ghz radio running at 400mwatt for my cellphones wifi. I'm sure that's my problem.
It's would be nice if I could run the keyboard thou my main wifi setup and in to the cable lan.

It's also  a 2.4 ghz system. If you don't use it..it stil might be reaching out to find bluetooth devices..so  turn it off as well.
