Correct, the YAMJ movie wall and the Mede8er movie jukebox are very different.  The YAMJ movie wall is html based.  The Med8er movie jukebox is graphics based (about.jpg, folder.jpg, plus movie.xml).  The purpose of Y2M is to convert the html files in the YAMJ jukebox into a format that can be understood by the Mede8er and copy those files to the Med8er.

Ok thanks for explaining to me better, maybe in a future software update for  mede8tor jukebox it will look at this then, i just think its a bit silly, your tv as so much spare space to get an extra line of movies in, plus one each end, meaning and extra 11 or so would be displayed when browsing, thats the only fault i can find with the whole thing mind lol.. If you have your movies setup correctly, there is no blank space at the bottom.  That is the area where the movie plot description and other info is displayed for the currently highlighted movie.  As you move though the movie choices, the plot description changes to match.  At least that is how it works when you have jukebox view on and have done a scan.

Unreal is talking about the bottom of the about.jpg image.

Look at this image:

At the bottom, you get MKV, 1080p etc... That is the "extra" line.

PS, your image will differ. It all depends on the skin your using.

Mcguywer, hi,
Not being rude but if you read the whole thread you will find out we were talking about all that earlier, thats all done and dusted, we moved on, the skin he was useing i thought showed the movie wall. ie before you enter into a movie and see your full collection, the mede8tor and jukebox displays 16 cover arts, but in one of the links in this thread theres a wall showing 27 covering your whole tv. I just thought that was possible but its not, it seemed a shame your tv only displays that amount of covers when theres more space availbale for an extra row.

Take a look at this video, in particular the section between 15 seconds and 42 seconds...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08TYQ-kXWLE

In that section, you can see below the 16 movie covers, the movie details for the currently highlighted cover.

Also be sure to watch this video...

I suppose what you mean is why not show an extra row of movies if you have turned off the option to display the movie details in the jukebox view.  Seems a legitimate question, but I like having the movie description at the bottom so there is never any blank space for me, and thus no room to display another row of movies.

Yes you hit the nail on the head, mine looks just like the video, i would rather have an extra row of movies, then just hit the about button if i want to read the movie info.
Like you say seems like an idea, maybe one day it will be an option.

Thanks for the effort. Smiley
