500X2 device has been updated to 2.0.6. Been using the device for around a month now, the following items are driving me nuts:

While playing - press info button, the more info bar appears at the top of the screen - this bar, is half hidden out the top of the screen.. I cannot read the first line, making this bar completely useless. I've adjusted the screen using the built in size vert and hori adjuster. I've also tried 16:10 and 16:9 settings. My TV is a Samsung 40".

Random - sometimes, during play, I press the back button, device reboots.
Sometimes, in menu system, device hangs no buttons make a difference, device is also not accessible via network, only a power plug pull gets me access again.

Deleting files - via the device sometimes leaves 1 or 2 files undeleted, these files are then not possible to delete. Connecting to device from Windows 7 64bit PC using Med connector v1.0, cannot delete these files from pc too, the only privs on the files is some linux user.

http://www.mede8er.com/mede8er_products_med500x2.html says MP4 supported - I cannot even see MP4 files, never mind playing them..

I suggest to upgrade to 2.0.7 first - see the release notes:

2.0.7 seems to be more stable, but does not resolve my info-out-of-screen problem.. see below to see what I mean:

NOTE: The screen-resize X / Y red block is set to within my boundaries..

Screen size dosn't compensate for overscan during the video..just limits the zoom function. You need to turn off overscan in your TV.
