Using Yamj on networked Mede8er's?

Unfortunatley "push" was the same year (2009) as "precious" which has a working title "push" Eeenjte, do you ever use automatic mode to do multiple files or is the effect not the same?

i rename one of my movies to push and tested in in thumbgen i get the movie data u after. what u can do is after u get the movie dat is press the adjust keywords button betwee "skip current folder" and options

yeah, got it sorted mate. I skipped that particular file then deleted all the jpg and nfo files and started fresh. I got a window with imdb links - just picked the right one. I'm nearly there, although I'm having problems getting the split-sheets to show on the mede8er. even though they appear as I want them to in thunbgen, I cant get them on the mede8er. even when I pick the first movie then press info - nothing happens, I seem to just have the bog standard video wall page with just the synopsis and no back-drops. It's obviously working with thumbgen - should I be adjusting things in the mede8er settings?

If ü browser to movie folder on pc do u se about.jpg and xmi file . S
If ü select movie on mede8er and prses info it shood  show the about..jpg

If I go to one of the folders in BLURAYS/ACTION for example, then go to a movie folder, say BLURAYS/ACTION/12 ROUNDS, in that folder is the :
 
12 rounds.mkv file,
 12 rounds.jpeg,
 12 rounds.mkv.tgmd,
 12 rounds.mkv_sheet,
 12 rounds.nfo,
 about.jpeg,
 folder.jpeg.

 I press info on the mede8er remote, but nothing happens?

Try using  .jpg instead f. .jpeg

Try one manually first to see if thet fix  the probblem . Then change it in thumbgen. If dont help for the already generale smeets. Just for new ones . U can seach al about images in windows  and batch ch name them

You can download an internal demo pack 'Series - Demo_12March2012.rar' that might well be worth downloading and testing as this will give you a feel for this new functionality. PLS DO NOT TRY TO PLAY THE VIDEO FILES AS THEY ARE ACTUALLY TXT FILES RENAMED.

put that demo in a share somewhere u can acces it on your mede8er. and try if u mede8er will show the about.jpg

 if that works u got something messed up in thumbgen setting for the splitsheets

Should I not have an "about.jpg" in each folder? The "12 rounds.jpg" and "12 rounds mkv_sheet" actually show 2 versions of the split-screen when opened in picture gallery - the "about.jpg" when opened is just the basic video wall synopsis.

Whats the "12.rounds.xml" file and how come thumbgen isn't creating it?

right, I deleted ALL the previous info + jpgs stored in all the folders, changed the settings to give me .xml rather than .nfo files. Ran thumbgen again and even though I have all the 4 files you listed earlier in every one of the folders, I'm not even getting cover-art on the video wall and If I click on one of the blank squares where I can see the movie title - the movie just starts - no synopsis.

look @ the first image in my guide options goto imput/output naming @ movieinfo export

click the drop down and select .xml option then in the box after it choose export using own thumbgen format


and plz try downloading the file i said and try that one so i have more info on what could have gone wrong

Did u activate "Jukebox" in settings? If not, do it.
Did u scan the folder/favourite where the movie (folders) are stored? If not, do it.
Then you'll be able to have your video wall perfectly working: a cover for each movie with plot and actors in the lower half of the screen, pressing SELECT/OK on the remote will take you to the about.jpg; another click and the movie will play. Hopefully...

What do you mean by "scan the folder/favourite"? if you mean with thumbgen of course I did, I have the exact 4 file in each folder that eenjte said I required.

eenjte, that is the exact way I changed my settings last night, they were all like you said exept  "create .nfo" was in the dropdown box instead of .xml.

I did download the "series demo" file, placed it on my nas drive then navigated to it via "shares" in the mede8er. I selected "video wall" in the menu on the remote and then went back to the mede8er home page. I went to video wall and the results were mixed - 3 of the six (top gear,american idol and how I met your mother all had a folder thumb, the other three didn't. when I selected weeds, 2 of the three seasons had cover art, when I went into tose there was just a basic list of all the episodes - very basic.

idd goto mede8er options and select  the last options in that menu. in that menu scroll down and enable use movie jukebox

then navigate to your movie folder

press edit/ add to favorites

then goto favorites and navigatie to movie folder there. press edit and use scan option now you should be able to see the sheets
