I'm using my mede8er 500X as wifi NAS with 1.5 TB HDD inside.
For months, it worked fine.
Then I moved house few months ago, and do the exact same configuration and settings in my new house.
I can still access my mede8er HDD1 from my Mac Mini and can browse the files fine.
But whenever I tried to copy a file to mede8er (around 300 MB file), it always resulted an error. After the error, HDD1 is no longer accessible. I have to power off the mede8er and turn it on again to have my NAS back.
Anyone experiencing this unstable NAS issue?

I'm on Mac as well (Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3) and have experienced similar issues both when using an external USB HDD and also when using an internal HDD. Problem goes away after restarting the mede8er, but may resurface now and then. I've got problems simply connecting to the the device (NAS mode) as well, so all in all the network connection doesn't really seem stable.

I know there are some "solutions" available for Windows users, but it really seems to be a problem with the device, so I hope they get fixed.

Edit: I have a MED500X2 by the way.
