I have recently bought a Mede8er MED500X2 with a 2TB HDD.
The firmware version I have is V2.0.3.

My problem is that with every movie I play it says no subtitles, when I press the button. I have subtitles enabled in the setup menu, so that's not the problem.

The subtitles do work however if it's a .mkv file with internal subs. (Then I can switch to every internal sub, but also external).

I name my movies for example:
Fast Five 2011 (is the file/map it's in)
Fast Five 2011.mkv
English.srt
Dutch.srt

With this movie, I can switch between subs and use the .srt ones, because it has internal subtitles. But with over 300 files I only have .srt files.

Any way to solve this?

I fixed my own problem, the subs do work if they have the same name as the video file.

It's gonna take some time to rename all the sub files tough Tongue

Try naming the files like this:

Fast Five 2011.mkv
Fast Five 2011[Eng].srt
Fast Five 2011[Dutch].srt

Some people have mutiple videos in the same file and needed away to have subtitles for each.
