I stream movies and TV-series from my NAS, since a while ago the picture freeze for about a minute. It doesn’t happen every time but enough to be annoying.
My router is a D-Link DIR 655 and I haven’t made any firm ware upgrades for any hard ware.
Does someone have any ideas?

Are you using lan cable or wifi?
Have you verified that you don't have other high network activity on your NAS or network when it happens? e.g. torrent downloads running at the same time? another user on your network accessing your nas?
