My dear friends,

I have recently purchased MED500X2. That means I am n00bie, so please be patient with me.  Smiley

I connected my Mede8er to my PC using instructions as I've found here: http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,596.msg3343.html#msg3343

I've had made connection via MED10WF WiFi Dongle. Although I am definitely not a PC networking expert, Internet connection was made within one minute, very easy (credit to the developers). Folder sharing with my PC also went very smooth thanks to Win7_workgroup_Mede8er_v2.0.2.pdf I found here on Forum. Perfect!

...but I have one problem, perhaps you might be kind enough to help me deal with...

Used configration(s):
Machine: PC & Mede8er MED500X2
PC OS: WIN7
MED firmware: v2.0.5
networking: via MED10WF WiFi Dongle
internal MED HDD: SEAGATE ST2000DL003, SATA3, 64MB (PC NTFS pre-formatted)
external HDD (via USB): WD HDD 3000 MB (PC NTFS pre-formatted)
NAS setting: on

All connections work fine, I can copy files from PC to external (USB) HDD, I can stream content of my shared folders, but...

I am not able to copy files from my PC (via wi-fi network) to MED's internal HDD. My windows say that "you need permission to perform this action". Security settings of internal HDD (the one that I can not write to) are the same like external HDD (where I am able to write).

What did I do wrong? Please help!

Thank you.

1) I suggest you try the V2.0.5 Int Version
2) The HDD should be formatted in the MED500X2 so try this as well.
