I have searched but cannot find a list of compatible 2 or 3 tb hard drives suitable for mounting internally in the Med500x2. If this exists, would someone kindly point me in the right direction?
Thanks

@ xxquartzxx

Did you have to use any jumpers on HDD or maybe did multiple formating.. or just plug&play with one format or ...

I am asking because I just got the WD20EARX so I can prepare before I install it

Thanks

Just for info...

I just installed western digital 2TB WD20EARX.
It was plug & play job + one format without jumpers...

Works great so far

I have a MED500X2 + PCIe WiFi and a 2TB Seagate ST2000DM001 (SATA3) no link inserted.

On V2.0.4 the hard drive worked fine after one format in the unit, but the PCIe WiFi was not detected.

I had to upgrade to  V2.0.5 International for the PCIe WiFi to work correct with the 2TB Seagate.
