My wife and I would like to see the Lyrics for some of our music,
is there any way this can be created on the 500x2?

Automatically?  You might find some kind of site which hosts Kareoki videos..where the video displays the lyrics. But if you  thinking of some kind of DSP which  extracts the "voice" from any music file and runs it through a speech  to text convertor..then No.

If it could be done for muisc..I;m sure that movie buffs would love it if it also included language translation as well.

You are free to exit the Muisc Jukebox, if you don't start it from a Favourite. You could then browse to a folder of jpgs containing the lyrics...but you would have to locate them on the web and put them there.

I all ready have a number of Lyrics in file on the computer, some I have tried pasting in tagscanner.
I have saved them in two types of formats Irc and txt. Can I load the Lyrics when I play a track?

There is no such embedded function.  All you can do is play music and browse images. The only text formats supported are movie subtitles.

Only as a background to the player..so it would be covered by the player graphics.

No. The player is designed for those who  want to select music and listen.  so there is lots of eye candy during the slection process...and then just the simple screen saver after that.  If anything , we get more posts about playing muisc without the Tv on than doing something else with the video output during muisc play.
