400 users tend to be NAS users..and may not have the option to test media avoiding the network. Stuttering and stops can also be codec issues..and nothing to do with the network at all. 500 users are used to playing files off the hard drive..and can test media that way. If it stutters off the drive..then the network may not be completely to blame.

A lot of problems can be narrowed down to a problem of the codec the same for the network. It's realy difficult to pinpoint a problem. It's not realy a big problem, just switch to samba and the problem is solved, and we're happy
