So I am Med500X2 3 days and yesterday already upgraded to the latest firmware version.

The bugs I found are:
1 - The application Bitorrent when you add the torrent file is restart the machine
- The Twitter Facebook application and not to carry up to 100%, are in ~ 80% block and does 500x2, so if you can by taking off the power cable.
-When I disconnect the 500x2 and I will call after hours or even less, on Windows (Win7 Home Premium) when I go into "Network" I see that the disk 500X2 is no longer available, I have to reboot the PC.
I have a 500x2 connected by network cable to my router
-The remote control seems to be inaccurate.

No problems wit torrent here.  I've moved your post.

Are you using the Web interface to BT, not the X2 GUI?

Why should you expect a device which is turned off to remain in the network display on the PC? It might take win7 15 mins to find it again when it power ups. That is a win7 issue..it hates non windows devices on the network.  You need to create a desktop shorcut to the X2 for when this happens.

In applying Torrent, use the GUI.

Maybe I explained poorly, sorry:
If I turn off the 500x2 and logical that I will not see the network in WIndows, but if you turn on the 500x2, not Windows already shows me the disk Med500x2, have to be to restart the PC to return to show 500x2 disk.

Users do expect Network Discovery to be instant..and consistent. That is the process that detects Samba devices and puts them in the Network list.       Unfortunately it isn't.    If you power it down..it may not re-appear as quickly as when it was first found after the PC was turned on .  Rebooting your PC is one way of forcing Network Discovery to find the X2 again.  Another way is to by-pass Network Discovery and create a desktop shortcut.

The torrent I started to re-check BT is still running.  Your two issues may be related to a common network problem which  would have to be indentified.

What are you using in setup for the DNS server?

Also..if the remote is sluggish on the main Home Icons..that is an indication of a bad flash. So  download again, possibly using zip instead of RAR, and re-install.

When using the internet. MED500X2 hangs and need power to be pulled.

When logging into twitter on the internet screen I get "SSL Handshake failed" error?Huh

It worked with V2.0.3 firmware.

Maybe a V2.0.4 bug

Your dns server settings will have been reset by installing new firmware. Did you do  a restore config after a save config?

P.S I removed your repeat post.

.

What are you using in setup for the DNS server?

In the DNS settings do not use anything in this all automatic, and the network settings on M500x2 not set up anything, I have everything on automatic. Just connected the network cable between the router and M500x2, and in this way I can see (in 500x2) I have shared folders on Win7 SP1, and Win7 SP1, I can access the disk on the 500x2.
 I stream without any problem.

I keep everything in automatic or should I make any changes?

Try changing the DNS server setting in your X2 network setup.

Automatics dosn't mean find settings which work...just create settings which work  for most users.
