WARNING! I'm a Linux N00b!!!

Here goes: I recently built a NAS PC running OpenMediaVault, and everything is working beautifully so far!

Now, here is what I want to do... My PC can copy to my OMV server much faster than it can to my Mede8er. I would like to set up a cron job to copy all files from my OMV server to my Mede8er at night. Problem is, I have no idea how to do the copying, nor the cron job. I'm assuming I will have to create a bash script and execute that at a certain time, and that's ok, but I don't know how.

Please help!

I suggest you try a  good forum for the linux server software you are using.  Then  you can come back and tell us how you did it! Cheesy
