This is posted elsewhere "conversion is about 1K-2K titles a min". so you can see it's ins't quick for large collections. The crucal thing is does it work when it has scanned.

When I'm listening to music and exit the music folder, the music stops playing. With 2.0.3 the music kept playing until I opened up the internet or started viewing a movie (or started another track, obviously ). Is there some setting I have missed or is this normal now?

There is no way to get back to jukebox player if you exit when playing music, despite trying to replicate the Audio button appraoch. Also we then ended up with two threads, the player, and the GUI, using the database..and this created the occasional problem. So users either use Jukebox Player, or exit it completely.

Thank you Med8er team for new great firmware, good job you all doing there! Keep it in same direction! For all you members, on lots of questions answers are already here http://www.mede8er.com/mede8er_music_jukebox_user_guide.html you just need to read a little bit! fw 2.0.4. is working for me, and also Music jukebox, but not on wireless communication. The main problem is in scanning shared music folder on my PC, scanning starts but it seems to stop right at the moment that has been started. Med8er showing scanning status but on wi-fi dongle I see no communication. I can access to shared folder and listen music, but the scanning can't be accomplished so there is no created db and Music Jukebox is not working over wi-fi. So can you give some suggestion what to do? Have about 3300 titles, wi-fi network is routed thru Thompson Speedtouch st780. Thanks in advance!

Only suggestion I can offer is to try use Tagscanner and Tracklist.xml and see if this works for you.

I'm using it, and it's working on external disk, but not over network.

setup: 400x2 - wired connection to NAS using private folder(s) - HDMI/TOS pass-through
basic functions appear OK music jukebox: I did follow the instructions but after reboot, no .DB file was created.
the 400x2 does have write permissions on the folder but NOT on it's parent: could this be an issue?

Great update! I love the new Music jukebox feature. I would love to see the scanning work completely on the mede8er (my collection is not mp3 only), but i am very impressed with this version!
I synchronise multiple itunes libraries to my fileserver. Thanks to the jukebox feature i can access all music in one go.

You use Tagscanner with mixed media..have you read about that in the manual?
Also could you describe how you have create a single jukebox to multiple itunes libraries via your fileserver as a Tip?
