med500x2 keeps rebooting after skin

Hello,

Yesterday i decided to place a skin on my med500x2.
I used the "ClapperboardV2_canvas_skin" from here.
As i thought i wouldn't harm, i changed the BG_LAYER1.jpg file to a picture of my kids, using the same resolution.
As the file IMAGE_COMMON_LOGO.png also looked like the background i changed that one to to the same picture, also in png format, with the same resolution. I used photoshop cs5 to do all this.
Now i copied the whole map to the mede8er and i activated the skin.
Now it just keeps rebooting and rebooting over and over...

What should i do now?
Get the hard disk out of de mede8er and put it in my pc, to manually remove the map with the skin?
Or do sort of a reset bij putting the firmware on again?

At what point is it rebooting...after the big med8er logo? That shouldn't be affected by any skin itneractions with the main code. So try an  emerrgency firmware install.

Yes, it reboots after the black startup screen with the big mede8er logo.
I'll try a reinstall of the firmware.

edit: just reinstalled the firmware, everything works again now. 
I'll try an unmodified skin first now...
