Try deleting this file 'moviejukebox-Mede8er.prop'. You will find it in the main folder of YAMJ

Nope. Still crashes. Could it be a 64-bit thing?  Huh

Hi there, I'm running YAMJ To Mede8er V2.0.0 in 64 bit (on a 64 bit Win 7 machine). I can't get it to run  Huh

It keeps popping up a box "YAMJ settings are invalid" and/or "An application error occurred. If you have logging enabled please check the log file for details. Error details: Failed to compile stylesheet. 2 errors detected." It then gives me an option to: abort, retry, or ignore. Then when I select ignore or retry and make the changes, it crashes. What's up?

I've done all this: run the moviejukebox.bat file, deleted the YamjToMede8er registry key, deleted the contents of the jukebox. But it still crashes.

I've been in this forum all morning looking for the fix but can't find anything. Can you please help?

Edit: I have thoroughly read everywhere in this forum before posting, this was about the most helpful but there was no definitive fix for my issue: http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,7836.msg49608.html#msg49608

Lets focus first on the error message: "YAMJ settings are invalid"

So can you post exactly want YamJ settings you have?
I expect some errors in the paths settings, pointing to a wrong folder.

Hi. I tried various options. My YAMJ To Mede8er sits in a folder on my C drive called "Portable Files", so I tried pointing it to:

1. C:\Portable Files
2. C:\Portable Files\YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0_Shizzl_yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2943_64bit_18Feb2012
3. C:|Portable Files\YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0_Shizzl_yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2943_64bit_18Feb2012\YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0_4Feb2012

When none of these worked, I then moved the YAMJ To Mede8er folder to my root folder i.e. C:\ and then tried all the above options from root. But no change.

The skin drop-down is blank and when I click it, nothing shows.

The skin drop-down is blank and when I click it, nothing shows.

Then there is something wrong with the YamJ path.

Try this:
Rename the long folder you have  YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0_Shizzl_yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT-r2943_64bit_18Feb2012 to YAMJ.
Now start the program YamJToMede8er that is in the subfolder YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0_4Feb2012

For the paths you use:
Path to YamJ: C:\Portable Files\YAMJ
Movie folder to scan: point this to a root folder with movie subfolders in it.
Jukebox location: Can be any path, this will only create a buffer of scraped info that will be used to create the scraping pictures when you press on Copy to Mede8er after the Run YamJ filled this folder.

When path settings are correct of Path to YamJ, you will be able to select a skin in the YamJ Skin selection field.

If it still stays blank then:
- you have not downloaded the complete package
- or your path setting is still wrong, it should point to the folder where e.g. the MovieJukebox.bat file is in.
- or you dont have a skins subfolder in your YAMJ folder (which should be there as it is included in the full package)

I had issues with v1.8, but I managed to get v2 working.

However it is really, really slow when compared to v1.8 on my desktop, also it is missing quite a lot of covers, yet doing the fan art and meta data, whereas 1.8 would do the covers and not the fan art,

one hour and 4 mins to do 99 files, 31 of these either had no fan art or no cover image

Any ideas?

Thanks. I renamed the long folder name to YAMJ but still the same errors.

When it first loads, after the first error message pop-up, it shows Y2M as the skin. I then have to re-select all the folders (YAMJ folder, scan folder, jukebox folder) and the skin drop-down goes blank. Then when I accept the changes it gives the second error message pop-up about the 2 stylesheets.

The zip is correctly downloaded, I downloaded it twice to make sure. My new notebook is 1 week old and only running MS Office, Lync and one or two other applications. Maybe there's a conflict that I'm missing. Anyway, it's weird but I'll keep on hacking at it till I find the solution (and yip, I will post it here when that great day comes). In the mean time, I'm using my wife's 32-bit machine with V2.0.0 and it's running seamlessly Smiley

I'm pretty sure everything is correct as it works for 2/3 of the films correctly

I have YAMJ_To_Mede8er for the code and Mede8er\Jukebox for the jukebox info

As I mentioned earlier some have the case image and no fan art, and some the fan art and no case image.

Couple of errors I spotted:-
Unknown property: 'logo_size' value: '[w45, w92, w154, w185, w300, w500 original]', this is one of the films where there is no case image

Any clues?

I changed my OS from win 7 32 bit to win 7 64 bit

YAMJ was run perfectly before but after reinstall in new OS 64 bit, It has problem that shown error report which give 3 choice to abort, ignore, or retry but the main problem is when after run the YAMJ, the movie list in the left side of Y2M can't show as usual.......

installed java 64bit, framework 4

then reinstalled like solution in this topic, using Media info CLI 7.57 x64, YamJ to Mede8er 2.0 Shizzl , yamj-2.7-SNAPSHOT-r3087 but always show "YamJ setting are invalid" then changed skin option in default skin (for HD logo to be off - originally true i changed to false) then shown error "YamJ setting are invalid, can't start YAmJ at this time"

anyone know how to solve this?

Thx b4

Hello!

How do I get to read the entire plot of the movie, when I'm Jukebox with all films. I am referring to the plot that is written in the XML file. There is a plot that is written in Fanart.
Or does not it?
While this also happens when using Thumbgen to generate XML files.

Tks.
