MED300X cannot copy from USB After Firmware Upgrade v1.5

Greetings,

I decided to do the upgrade because a sound problem on a few of my video files. The upgrade solved the sound problem   however since the upgrade I am now unable to copy files from ANY USB stick to the Mede8er. I now have to unplug the Mede8er from my TV system, connect to my PC and transfer the files via cable from my PC. I have lost an important feature of this media player.   I have a MED300X.

Some additional info: I can copy from the Mede8er to USB stick but not from USB stick to Mede8er. Error message: File Copy  Failed! I can play files on the USB stick. I have re-flashed the Mede8er.

I decided that perhaps it was time to refresh the disc file structure and check the integrity of the disc. I ran CHKDSK and also defragged the disc (It sure took awile) I retried the copy and it worked. So it seems as if the update is fine and my system was not.
