Only one codec is disabled due to possible licencing issues (FLV vp6)...the rest are limited by the codec chip. The 1186 has the same limitations..but has a couple of populer chinese codecs added.

Only one codec is affected by "licencing" issues...there is no hidden support for all WMV. That's why I mentioned the 1185...it hasn't added much in terms of codec numbers...but it is a better chip at procesing codecs(IMHO).   That shows Realtek arn't interested in grossly expanding the number of codecs, more the quality of the processing.
