Good day

I've downloaded the Y2M files as per the instructions, but when I try to open the .exe it asks me to run it and then I get the following message: "Y2M has stopped working". I've tried both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions.

Can someone assist please? Thanks.

My PC specs are as follows:

Windows 7 64-bit
IE 9
Java 32-bit - 6 update 29
Java 62-bit - 6 update 30
Microsoft.NET Framwork 4 Client Profile
Microsoft.NET Framwork 4 Extended

I suggest to:
- remove all contents from your Jukebox folder
- open regedit on your pc and look for the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\YamjToMede8er
and remove that.
- then start Y2M again and be sure to use latest complete package
- be sure to use proper folder names and movie names (as found in IMDB website)

When that appears you've got to change your settings to the following:

1) When the error comes up click ok.
2) Click YAMJ Settings
3) Path to YAMJ set it to the folder with the YAMJ files: Y2M_BETA8_yamj-2.6-SNAPSHOT_win64bit_r2891_16Jan2012.
4) Movie folder to scan.....select whatever folder you've got your movies in.
5) Jukebox location.....you should make a folder name YAMJ in the C: and select it.

Once you do all this, it will make a jukebox folder and click ok.  Thereafter, it should start scanning / scrapping all your movies.

I had one more try: In the YAMJ settings window, I set the path to YAMJ to D:\YAMJ instead of D:\YAMJ
\YAMJ.  Now it works fine, despite the fact that YAMJ_To_Mede8er_2.0.0.exe (the application) is in the D:\YAMJ\YAMJ directory.

You are mixim up 2 things:
YamJ and YamJ-To-Mede8er path.
This are 2 different programs. Y2M is using YamJ and so needs to know the YamJ path.
Y2M can be on any place on your disk....
