For batch processing I use MusicBrainz Picard from http://musicbrainz.org/doc/MusicBrainz_Picard.  It is configurable to update (or not) all the tags, update (or not) the album art in the tag and/or into a file.

For individual processing and tagging, I normally use MP3Tag from http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html.  Also does tagging manually or from an external source like amazon, and can also update album art only if you want.

X2 users should get used to using this:-

It's at the heart of generating information for the new Music Jukebox. It needs a script for that...which won't be released until it has been finalised.

Is this the program that will be used to generate the meta-info that the X2s will use to build the music jukebox database?  Will I still be able to use my preferred programs for tagging my mp3s, namely MP3Tag and MusicBrainz Picard and then just use TagScanner for the Jukebox generation?

Correct. You still can edit mp3 tags with the program you like.

Hi Everyone,

TAGScanner is the only option to provide Music file fanart for x2? I understand we need a script and that it will be delivered when development is done. I'm still working through my movie files so have some time. Just wondering when we can expect the script.

Hi Chris,

The Tagscan script you are talking about is included in the Music Jukebox User Guide.

Suggest to start reading here: http://www.mede8er.com/mede8er_music_jukebox_user_guide.html
