I have a Harmony 900. I loaded the MEDE8ER option under COMPUTER --> MEDIA CENTRE PC and typed model MED500X2.  That provides me with the new commands such as EDIT and VIEW. Works fine.

Hi thanks for your reply Smiley So all the functions work on your harmony remote control that would work on the orignal remote control of the MED500X2?

Yep, everything works fine with the Logitech Harmony One, and using the BIG play/pause button is so cool  Cool

Anyone getting double moves using the cursor controls? This has been reported by others...after they used learn mode.

No, i use standard button settings from Logitech for Med500X2. I did not have to use the learn mode.
Maybe 'they' have not used the correct settings. I did program the remote f.i. pressing the GUIDE button and you go to the FAVOURITES screen (same as pressing BLUE button on original Med remote)

Perhaps some people have older versions with no specific X2 profile for their model?  It is useful to know that there is a solution for those who want to use a universal  remote...even if  it means upgrading their remote!

Hmmm, let's say I have no double jumps since the new Firmware. Before I had the problem that certain commands get send "too often" or twice (dunno the correct word for this, simply if you pressed the button for "right" it could be that it was going two positions in this direction instead of one). Happened also with the normal remote, so it was not an error in the Logitech one.
