first i have to apologize for my bad english. i hope, that someone will understand my problem anyway.

my one week old MED500X2 does not react on pushing buttons on the front or RC any more.

from one moment to the other, i was not able to browse through the menu or through the files. the only button that works fine is the on-off-button.

i loaded the 2.02 firmware but this had no effect.
Sometimes the mede8er starts to toggle through the menu for itself, the blue power LED is flashing in high speed and the only way to stop this, is to unplug the AC cable and start the MED again.

I'm not happy with sending the unit back to netherlands before someone confirms that this is a hardware issue.

thank you for your support

N

You could do some checks:
- remove the internal disk and check if it response normal after removal
- check the internal cables of the frontpanel, check if the connector is firmly seated on the mainboard
