Hi All

I copied a whole heap of files onto the 3Tb internal drive, in folders named, Documentaries, Movies, Music and Series; each folder having seperate sub folders. These are accessable via the "Media Library" application button, however nothing is found when performing a "Database Search", be it movie or music.

I assume, being a newbie, that I am doing something stupid, or have omitted to do somethingthat I should have. Could someone more knowledgable than I point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

David

To use the simple search functions (big icons on home page)..you must turn on Auto Scan in setup and boot with it at least once.  Let it create the database for a  while..then turn auto scan off.  You can then top up the data base manually.

As well as the simple search buttons there is the more complex Jukebox system. You need to read all the tips etc. on Jukeboxing. That is where all the clever stuff is.
