Is the SATA3 bug/problem solved by the 2.01 FW?
Or is it still SATA1,5 now?

If it is solved, more 3.0TB HDD´s will work.

This firmware doesn't very good?

The videowall is a big machine. It's not really simple.

Why videowall dont inside the med. It's not possible?

It's my second MED I prefer the first one. This X2 is not very, cause the firmware, good than the first.
I hope that the firmware will be updated and videowall inside the firmware.......

The X2 will be a good multimedia player............

The videwall has been replaced with Jukebox, something that allows for more details to be displayed and searched. You don't have to change your folder stucture just update the XML using the latest tools.

You will have to give more detials of you audio setup for that to be investigated. The X2 should be considered a new player...even if the box is the same. You shouldn't expect to swap the X1 out...and  put the X2 in...without configuration changes which  need to be sorted out.

You only have to read posts, or this Tip...to realise the potential Jukebox offers.

You should read this post...where someone with similer views to you was encouraged to try the new Jukebox despite loving the Videowall.

From the length of that thread you can see it took a lot of encouragment!

I am also more a fan of the Jukebox. I was missing the Videowall in the pre 2.x Firmware but this stopped after the new 2.0 or 2.0.1. was realeased.

Although I must say I would love an option to leave some folders out of the xml Search (eg Series) as I am sorting my Movies/series now two ways. One link to normal movies and one to Series (as this is the only way to skip the xml search in the series folders, as I don't want to start at the first episode).

Or, and this is a second idea: Would be possible too change the behaviour of how it is displayed to e.g. file view or something similar? So we could have the advandage of the Jukebox even with series. Someone already posted something similar in the request thread.

Oh and back to the feedback. As the Subtitles ar enow clearer it is really easier to read them. As mentioned before the Jukebox is really great. Also a think i noticed before witht music files got corrected. If I choose a song it stopped right after the song was over, if I didn't change it with the repeat button. Now it plays the songs after the choosen one, like a normal Player would dp (was already changed in 2.0.) The autoview option is a great help for getting the right views from the beginning. Although I would hope that it can be changed for Music Folders. It is right that they are shown in the Music View. But would it not be possible to show the folders with the flacs or mp3s in a list form (or in split view)? Would make it easier to find a song.

With autoview switched on you can control the view for each folder individually.  When you change the view for a specific folder a file called view.xml is written to the folder, this XML contains the view configuration for each folder.  When you access that folder again the view you have selected is retained.  This only works if the Mede8er has write access to the folder.

I had exactly the same thought as you about Music, I prefer a list view in the folder containing the actual FLAC's or MP3's.  So using autoview my folder views are set up like this...

Music (music view)
---- Artist (music view)
-------- Album (preview view)

To make this easier to set up I configured the view to preview view on one album then from my PC just copied the view.xml to every other album folder on my NAS.  This is now something I do each time I add new music to the library, just copy in view.xml and the folder will be in preview view the first time I access it from the Mede8er.

Mark.

As Markt1891 has demonstrated...there are a lot of ways  to use Juekbox the way Sanji have done Jukebox..than a simple scan drive..create juebox approach.  Sanji don't have a "list" of what you can do with Jukebox as such...users can experiment and tell Sanji what they found they can do..that Sanji hadn't envisaged.

After a while those things which experiment can't solve can be considered for future improvment.

I have suggested that  since the view used by Devices can now br stored ion flash..that something similer could be done with Jukebox.  That would create a single global view change. Since each Jukebox has it's own databse...they could store view for each JUkebox in that...giving even more flexibilty .

But such things are for future consideration....no suggestion...even from Mods...can be given a gurenntee of implementation.
