 - Connect your Mede8er to your PC via USB
 - Click Start > Run and type diskmgmt.msc
 - View the drive that appears as your Mede8er
 - If it was formatted by the Mede8er then it will have one large NTFS partition and 2 smaller 'unknown' partitions

Another way:

You could Telnet into your Mede8er IP and provide the FDISK -L output:

1. On Mede8er - determine your network IP Address:
o System Setup > Network > Wired LAN / Wireless Setup

2. Provide the FDISK -L output of Mede8er drive:
o From PC, click on START > RUN
o Type in HYPERTRM and ENTER
o Create a new connection, call it Mede8er
  o Connect using TCP/IP (Winsock)
o In Host Address, type in IP address of your Mede8er as determined in point 1 above
  o Leave Port as 23
o From LOGIN prompt, enter ROOT and hit ENTER
o Now type in fdisk -l and ENTER

Post the output, you should have something like this:

Code:
/ # fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 121601 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot    Start       End    Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sda1               2      121541   976270050    7  HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2          121542      121561      160650   82  Linux swap
/dev/sda3          121562      121581      160650   83  Linux

With Windows7 follow Insomniacs instruction but use the Telnet Client. This is not installed unless requested.
Goto Control Panel - Programs - Turn Windows Features on or Off, and tick the Telnet Client box.

Run the Command Prompt - and Type "Telnet" followed by the Med500x IP address (without leading zero's in last two fields).
