Mede8er in 3D ?

HI , I own a MED500X and i love it very much.I hav a 46" 3d tv, and i hav alot 3d bluray movie.when the  3d mede8er will release . Med500x cannot play 3d bdmv. Pls let me know when will release,i hoping to buy a new player can play 3d bdmv. In tis moment i only have confident on mede8er (base realtek). thank you.

Rrealtek have not yet released a Full HD chip, which would require HDMI 1.4 in order to transfer the images. Current chips can handle anamorphic 3d, as it's the displays job to detect the side by side, or one above the other formats, and seperate the images.

But xtreamer prodigy 3d already using rtk1186 chip who can support 3d !

That is vapourware....the 1186 isn't yet in production box's. If you want a 1186 med you will be waiting some time yet.

So if you must have the "first" 1186 buy an Xtreamer,  then you will suffer all the bugs of the first Realtek SDK. Otherwise get used to waiting a few more months and get the "best" 1186 player from Sanji.

Forgive me while I have hysterics.

I ordered one in July.  Cancelled in October.  Still haven't got my money back.  And other Xtreamer  'customers'  report either non-delivery or various problems with the machine.

Meanwhile, DHL tracking tells me my Med8er 500X2 ordered last week is in transit from Gatwik to local depot..

And this forum is far more helpful and civilsed than Xtreamer's where any critical post is instantly deleted, the poster banned and, if he complains, abused in emails from the company's Sales Manager.
