I am using the current version of YAM (It went into folder Y2M_BETA8_yamj-2.5-SNAPSHOT-r2665_32BIT_2Oct2011).
Anyway I scraped the movies and had no problems as already had files named correctly using The Renamer (see
http://www.therenamer.com/ ).
So basically on the root of the drive of my mede8er I have the following folders Videos, TV Shows, Music and Photo. With any videos I copied over I made sure that each video went into a seperate folder (even with boxsets) the only problem scraping was with Aeon Flux due to the way the name is written on the imdb site, a quick copy and paste sorted that.
I then started to try and scrape my tv shows. These are organised as follows
TV Shows\Name\ Series X\Name SxxExx - Title.avi (Obviously X = series number and SxxExx is say S01E01)
Some shows do not scrape, some do and in cases say series 1 and 3 would scrape but series 2 will not.
Ok I thought I'd try to .nfo the directory and give it another go after deleting the appropriate files from my jukebox folder.
In that case I just created a blank text file and renamed it to the same name as the first episode in that series with the extension .nfo, then using notepad++ edited the file and stuck in the link to imdb page for that tv show (not the series but the show in general). Needless to say YAM came back with the same results.
For an example here is my file structure for the TV Series The IT Crowd. Series 1 and 3 scrape ok, series 2 the folder jpg is good but there is nothing in anything else. The About.jpg has no banner available and all episodes are unknown.
