i have mede8er med300x, installed leatest FW, but some mkv (that already flagged as 24 fps , checked with mediainfo) and all bd-iso / bdmv (also checked with mediainfo) cannot be played in 24p mode, they are always be played in 60 hz output....

i use Panasonic HDTV TH-P42V20G that already has 24p smooth cinema feature.... so some mkv already play in 24p mode but some still in 60hz mode....

is it a bug of the firmware or anything else?.... anyone can help me?....

What happens in bdmv mode if you play the stream itself from the stream folder?

Few of us have this box, so  my suggestions are based on problems casablanca firmware has had on the X2. Does your firmware have an option to turn on and off 24 hz support in Setup (Video)?

yes it already have...

btw i already got the way to play bdmv in 24 p, i must play it from the biggest m2ts file in stream folder but it's very annoying because i must search each time i want to play that movie

#`1. is it ok if I copy the biggest m2ts (the movie itself) as a single file outside the bdmv folder structure?.....

#2. when i extract .iso file to bdmv strusture i use daemon tools that made iso seems like a true BD Drive then I manually copy them to other folder, but i found some problem that sometimes the m2ts file become corrupt, do you have some method so I can extraxt iso file become bdmv securely?.....

This link is the method I use:-

http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,3758.msg25679.html#msg25679

So you end up with a BDMV with just one playlist, and one stream file.

hi jer1956 and CyberDNT,
Just want to sharing my experience using 300X.

1. Playing BDISO/BDMV(from root) will always fails generate 24p
2. Using biggest stream inside BDMV folder will produce 24p

unlikely for X2, it plays 24p perfectly using BDISO/BDMV with/without menu. So here's my question, both X2 and 300X using casablanca GUI and new SDK, is it a firmware bug or 300X can't produce 24p from BDMV structure?

@CyberDNT : I added this thread's link to kaskus.us for the rest of us to see Smiley

I think there is a specific SDK for each chip, and they aren't kept in sync. So you get a variation in "quality"...how well  each chip's software performs a given function. It would be better if there was a single casablanka sdk, with selectable low level  libraries for each chip. That way higher level problems are common, and when fixed,  are fixed for all chips.

This appraoch would have also meant continued upgrades for older chips. So whilst focussing on the 1185, you could make a 1073 build......even if you might need to create a seperate build list to drop functions and work within each chips memory limitations.

yes, I got same experience there....

sorry b4 for jer1956, i already read the threat but I'm not to understand about those post, so sorry...

maybe mr. osiris can help to give the answer from my question about the placement of the biggest m2ts file in one root movie folder (so i don't need to search the biggest m2ts file anymore), can it be play without any problem?....

and do you have any recomendation about the program for extracting iso file to become bdmv structure securely and perfectly, because I used winrar and it didn't work, so i tried to use daemon tools program to mount the iso file then manually copy the bdmv structure to other folder, but i found a problem, that sometimes the copied m2ts is corrupt.....

Bluray's work by having a pool of media in the stream folder, and then for each playable option (say directors cut) they have a playlist which says which media is required.

Bdinfo allows you  to view the playlists, and see which one contains what you want, say the basic movie and Hd sound. You note which playlist it is. You then use Tsmuxer and input that playlist, rather than a stream. You can then create a bluray structure with just one stream and one playlist, or just a single stream by itself which just contains the movie.

hi CyberDNT,
You can use DVDFab to remux your BDMV into single m2ts stream (which still contain multi audio/subtitle).

i downloaded this program that u recomended to me, then I have some problem when extracting iso file to bdmv structure (i used daemon tools to mount the image then manually copy those bdmv structure file, then some movie is corrupt)

I want to ask, how is DVDFab program can remux movie from iso file?.....  I tried to load iso file into drag and drop iso image here but the iso can't being loaded, but when i loaded bdmv folder, the file directly loaded.....

what option should I use to remux main movie in iso to single file?

DVDFab can read ISO file. You may use Bluray Copy menu and choose Main Movie, to make a single stream BDMV.
