3D SBS movies do play. Use search on the forum and search on 3D. You will find some post.

I guess you have seen these post on the Mede8er NL forum?
http://www.mede8er.nl/forum/20-firmware-request/535-3d-films-afspelen.html#3742

Some users succesfully play 3D half-SBS mkv movies on their mede8er.

But 3D BlueRay format will not play. Then you need more bandwith by HDMI 1.4

3D SBS is pretty popular in torrent circles I guess....  There are several Android based media players (Realtek 1186DD chip) on the market I would have bought if HDMI 1.4 and 3D was critical for me...  I pay the extra for MEDE8ER's for the forum support and community thats willing to help others.  3D SBS is fun but its such a small percentage of what we use these players for.
