i have the med300x and am using it very well.  it doesn't have an internal drive and so far i'm just using a seagate 1tb external hd.
I am not a techie and am planning to buy larger hd's. could someone give me an idea of what kind of internal hd to buy and for external too and what is the largest hd space that could work with the med300x.
and the unit has 2 usb ports on its side so i am planning to attach 2 external hd's aside from the internal would all of this work and what would be the best sizes to buy.
Thank you in advance

The max size for an internal HDD to be fitted to MED300X is 2TB. I would also suggest you use 2TB for external USB drives.

Thank you very much mede8er 1.
I just have one last question.  I've been browsing the web for internal hdd and i noticed a lot of categories or kinds to choose from. i see some described as sata, esata, or barracuda, etc...
could you please tell me which specifically i should buy or are all kinds of internal hdd that is 2tb are compatible with the med300x.
thank you again in advance Smiley
